Steam Deck Universal Battery Mount

This is a sweet universal battery mount for your Steam Deck! PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION FOR ALL THE OPTIONS. I wanted a mount I could use with a case so I made this, then I also made a version for use on a bare Deck (no case). So BE SURE to order the right version, for use WITH a Case, or the model for use WITHOUT a Case. These are two separate battery mounts (and there are options for different sized batteries, read below).

I've tested the case version with several cases and found it worked great on every case I tried, but it will NOT fit on cases that have built in kickstands in the center. It does work with this case that has a kickstand though https://amzn.to/3KU6ht6 (this is the case pictured in most of the images, I really like it - you'll need to momentarily slide the battery to the side to deploy the kickstand then slide the battery back, but it's works great and only takes like 1 second to do).

Due to the limitations of Etsy's system, I can only offer 2 variations, with/without a cases, and color options. I do however also have different size mounts for different sized batteries, I have the standard 1" for batteries up to 1" thick, but I also have designs for the 1.15" thick Baseus 20,000mAh 65W battery (https://amzn.to/40MbRo7), the 1.5" thick Baseus 30,000mAh 65W battery (https://amzn.to/3M4dHNa), and 1.95" thick for the Anker 737 (https://amzn.to/3KivRJM). If you'd like one of these just leave a note with your order and it's not a problem, otherwise the default is 1" thick.

On thinner cases such as silicone cases the battery mount won't snap on with as much satisfaction as thicker cases, but it still holds great and doesn't slide around or anything.

There's rubber inside the bottom of the battery compartment to keep the battery from slipping. There's also rubber on the back of the mount to prevent it from slipping on the Deck and makes sure it won't leave any marks on the back of the deck or case on the deck. During testing I've pulled the mount on and off my deck with and without a case like a zillion times and it hasn't left any marks at all.

Both mount versions also include a little removeable "kickstand" block that allows to two angles of use. it attaches via strong Velcro and works great. Doesn't block any exhaust ports, buttons, etc.

As a bonus, it's really easy to attach an external SSD with a Velcro strip either to the back of the battery mount or under it. If you'd like the sticky Velcro strip needed for this just leave a note with the order and I'll add it, but otherwise it's not included.
