Samsung Galaxy XR Arm Proximity Sensor Slider Cover

This is a super simple but highly effective proximity sensor cover designed for the left arm of the Samsung Galaxy XR headset. I got tired of the headset instantly jumping into standby every time I took it off, so I made this little XR lifesaver! It makes sharing the Galaxy XR WAY easier—just pop the headset off, pass it to the next user, and boom… no more annoying iris scan prompts interrupting everything.

It’s built to be used entirely by touch: slide it all the way back to cover the sensor, slide it forward to disable it. When installing, make sure the slit sits on the bottom—this keeps it from blocking the mic when it’s in the forward position. (Check the photos for a quick visual guide.)

Sure, you could slap some tape on there… but this looks cleaner, switches modes way smoother, and feels like a proper Samsung Galaxy XR accessory instead of a quick hack. Plus, it matches the vibe of a premium XR headset way better than a strip of tape ever will. 😄
